About

I’m a developer from the UK, I make web apps, mobile apps, Facebook apps and contribute to open-source projects.

I currently work for Reckless, a ‘new media’ agency based in Chester and London who specialise in loyalty programmes, mobile apps, and websites of all shapes and sizes.

I am part of the PHP.net web team, where I help write and maintain the online PHP documentation in its many forms, contribute to the plethora of other PHP.net projects and sister sites that exist and vote on new major decisions and features that could make their way into the PHP language.

I also have a number of personal projects which I contribute to, such as Web Dev Weekly, a popular weekly digest newsletter of the week’s industry news and QuickTags, which are custom-programmed NFC-enabled chips that interact with Android devices for a number of uses.

I built, run and maintain the world’s most popular free ad network: BAMify Ads.  I have also built and released a number of apps under the umbrella of BAMify, some of which have won awards.

I also own Fred, a dog who has a remarkable talent for balancing food on his head, and is becoming quite popular around the world.
